Frequently asked questions about Contao maintenance and Contao care

  • We already know your system, the line of communication is established and you save coordination effort. You can plan additional development work faster.

  • Updates for Contao and extensions, security monitoring, backups, a monthly health check, basic performance monitoring and incident prevention with early warnings. Much of it runs automatically in the background.

  • It is technically possible, but rarely economical. Updates have to be tested, security advisories followed and extensions kept compatible. We do this every day across many systems, have fixed routines for it and spot problems earlier.

  • Yes, especially for them. Small teams rarely have time for updates, and an outage or a security gap hits them just as hard. A maintenance contract is insurance against expensive repairs. The XS package covers the basic care.

  • We work preventively instead of waiting for a problem, and we actively check all relevant areas. We care about thoroughness and long-term stability, not the quick fix. A price that only covers “installing updates” leaves security, performance and monitoring open.

  • We rely on lean, proven routines instead of bloated packages: automated checks, clear channels, fast implementation and fair value for money without hidden costs. The right thing at the right time, rather than as many steps as possible.
